TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Contestant", "Captain", or "Organizer") and VSHUB.io ("VSHUB", "we", "us", or "our").

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in specific European jurisdictions) to create an account or participate in sanctioned tournaments. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

VSHUB utilizes federated OAuth 2.0 authentication via Discord and Google to verify identities without storing plaintext passwords.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your linked Discord and Google credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date in-game handle identifiers (e.g. Embark ID, Steam ID, Riot ID). Falsifying game credentials or playing on someone else's account ("ringing" or "smurfing") is strictly prohibited.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate competitive integrity or platform guidelines.

VSHUB enables community organizers to create visual node-based brackets, configure prize pools, and orchestrate match desks:

• Check-in & Punctuality: Teams and individual contestants must check in before the declared deadline. Failure to check in forfeits your slot to alternate squads.
• Rulebook Compliance: Each event displays its specific tournament format, game mode rules, and banned equipment. Participation implies consent to the organizer's ruleset.
• Disputes & Organizer Discretion: Match Desk Tournament Managers have ultimate operational authority to arbitrate disputed scores, technical disconnects, and rematches.

VSHUB employs automated Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Vision OCR to transcribe scoreboard screenshots into official match results:

• Authentic Scorecards: Uploaded screenshots must be unaltered, clear, full-screen end-game lobby scoreboards. Submitting edited, manipulated, or fabricated screenshots is grounds for immediate lifetime tournament disqualification.
• Zero Tolerance on Cheating: The use of third-party memory injection software, aim assistance hacks, speed hacks, network manipulation, or game glitch exploitation will result in immediate bans and notification to respective game publishers.
• Audit Logging: All submitted screenshots are cryptographically hashed and archived for integrity review.

VSHUB.io is an independent tournament management platform.

VSHUB is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by Embark Studios AB, Nexon Co., Ltd., Riot Games, Inc., Electronic Arts Inc., Epic Games, Inc., or Valve Corporation.

All game titles, trademarks, logos, character names, and in-game assets referenced on VSHUB (including THE FINALS, Apex Legends, and Valorant) belong strictly to their respective copyright and trademark owners.

Tournament organizers operating tenant hubs (<org>.vshub.io or custom CNAMEs) are solely responsible for content published on their pages, including team banners, custom news articles, and community rulebooks.

Content that promotes hate speech, harassment, illegal gambling, fraud, or copyright infringement will be promptly taken down under DMCA compliance.

VSHUB is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VSHUB AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PRIZE MONEY, REPUTATION, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF TOURNAMENT OUTCOMES, SERVER DOWNTIME, OR INTERRUPTIONS IN THIRD-PARTY GAME SERVICES.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction and international internet standards.
